In authors.txt, one could write:

Marty McFly (1,2)
...

Minor hack to support multiple affiliations for the same author (see #7…

You can write multiple numbers separated by a comma; this will generate a valid preamble for the Springer LNCS style, but will generate *invalid* markup for the other stylesheets. Like I said, this is a temporary hack.
