Personally I'd like something like a "Digital Rain" effect from the Matrix.
There are a few out there that are customizable with: size, speed, color, character set, font, display message, exit after, etc.
https://github.com/Rezmason/matrix was what I was looking at, is web based so maybe we can get it to run in a terminal.
