[bug] Sharkey custom emotes do not show #2705
Comments
Hiya, in this case I see that the emojis are webp files. GtS v0.13.3 doesn't process webp emoji files. But 0.14.0 will :) |
Emotes seem to work on posts now, but not on profile hmm |
Ah, I'm not sure why that's the case 🤔 Do you see any errors in your GtS logs when trying to load a sharkey profile with missing emojis? |
no errors! Apparently some emotes load but all |
are there any notes in your logs about exceeding maximum remote emoji size? it should show up as something like |
Describe the bug with a clear and concise description of what the bug is.
When viewing a Sharkey profile, the custom emotes are just their name, but a Mastodon profile (in this case Framework) works okay (So I assume it is not client side)
What's your GoToSocial Version?
v.0.13.3
GoToSocial Arch
x86_64 Docker
What happened?
When viewing a Sharkey profile, the custom emotes are just the name of the custom emote
What you expected to happen?
View the actual custom emote
How to reproduce it?
Look at a profile from Sharkey (Possibly Misskey too) and the custom eote they use
Anything else we need to know?
This also happens in posts
