Customize Page Setup for e-book formats #4210
Comments
Sorry, seems I was using a very old version of Sumatra without realizing. However now font size and color customization seems gone, text is no longer using justified alignment, and even the setting file weirdly opens with vs code instead of notepad... I'll need some time to figure out if this "upgrade" is actually an improvement in features or not. |
When using

for ebook formats it would be nice to be able to control the page size or at least its aspect ratio, as well as the margins.Currently it seems to default to 2:3 aspect ratio like most printed books, which is taller and narrower than even a4, let alone us letter format. Being able to select those two printer page sizes or any custom size instead would not only allow better fit when printing, but also more convenient reading on screen with "fit page" zoom level being a bit wider in landscape mode or fitting the display aspect ratio better in portrait mode on some devices.
And if you implement custom page size, custom margin size should naturally come with it, for that extra fine-grained control to those that want it.
