It depends on the Instagram server
If your IP seems as new, then it will allow you to make several requests anonymously
Otherwise it will return login_required
instagrapi first tries to execute anonymous request, if it fails then make requests with session

When i use hashtag_medias_recent_v1 when logged in return me list of medias. But if i log in and use hashtag_media_recent_a1 i get client login required exception.
Can anyone explain?

login_required returns the Instagram server
If you have a new IP address, then you can make one or more anonymous requests
After that, the Instagram server will mark your IP address and require you to login
