Could the webclipper be changed so that I don't have to have the webapp running?

It would be so much more convenient. On your website, you advertise the nonexistent login as a feature, but to me this is more of a negative. I'd prefer it if it would behave like the Standard Notes clipper. You just sign in, and clip directly to the notebook.

I agree. Although In my case the concern is not related to login directly, but I need to clip directly to desktop app first because in my work there are firewall rules that does not permit syncing some items with web notebook, so then If necessary to sync with web repository.

It would be great if there was, al least, a configuration which permits to manage the way web clipper runs when you've installed a desktop app.

PD. I hope someone can read this and to give an answer... if not I would have to continue with Evernote or Joplin and it would be sad because Notesnook is the best fitting app/notes system to replace Evernote for me.

Great to know! Thanks for your answer! I'll be happy to try it and if it can solve my job "firewall" rules, you'll have a new pro user (I've about 800 notes recently exported from Evernote awaiting for a new home).
