@teddyber I've changed my console to the newer and open sourced PowerShell https://github.com/PowerShell/PowerShell and found it supports the color codes used in stern. maybe you can give it a try?

thanks for the tip but unfortunately, it didn't work. in the meantime i installed a linux distro through WSL and i have a colored stern :-)

@tw0517tw I chose to enable ANSI color for PowerShell in my registry, per this SO answer, which fixed this problem for me. Per the same answer, it might be possible to fix it in the Stern code too, if the GO implementation supports the Windows API call.
