 Issue : 1108
 Title : External Forwarding
 Author : Radentor
 Status : Proposed
 Type : Enhancement
 Created : 2024-04-26

Abstract

This issue describes an enhancement proposal to the existing sats forwarding (from zaps on post) to be possibly sent to non-SN user to their Lightning Address or to their public key (keysend).

Motivation

If someone isn't on SN, but I want to share the sats from a post, it would be great to be able to forward it to their Lightning address.

Quoted from SN post #461985

At the same time, i'd like to also propose an enhancement to zap prism with keysend payment. If that person doesn't have a LN adress a prism could still be sent to his/her pubkey.

Acknowledgements

This idea was first proposed by @kytt over a month ago. Since @kytt has yet to submit an issue, i thought i'd submit an issue related to this so a good idea like this won't be lost/ignored.
