In the next days I will release a new version of SSH-MITM.
Most of the work was done by adding type hints to the whole project to make further development easier.
When the client uses local port forwarding, the default behavior is to open a port, which allows an auditor to use the forwarded port for his own connections.
The most important feature is full support for trivial authentication. This means, that SSH-MITM is able to spoof various security mechanisms during authentication.
But development does not stop with this release 😉 So please share your ideas to make SSH-MITM more powerful or easier to use.
