I'm a 30+ years old computer scientist working as a product manager in the automotive industry. I spend my spare time working on open source projects (as much as the family allows me to).

Before I was research assistant in the CoRE research group and PhD Student at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oldenburg. I try to also publish my research open source (open access).

I Usually start my projects out of my own needs and decide then if it is useful to make public. At that moment I spend time on improving the quality.
I try to use modern techniques in my projects such as CI/CD to help me keep the quality up although working as a single person on the projects.

Maintaining open source projects for a long time takes significant effort. I hope GitHubs sponsoring program can help to support me a bit in this process.
