Who am I?

  • My name is Quinn Millican and I am a software engineer who specializes in Go (Golang). I've been in the tech space for almost 4 years now, with 2 of those years being a professional software engineer.

What have I made?

  • I am the author of the Go packages go-c2dmc, which is used for converting RGB and a handful of other color space values into the nearest matching DMC stitching thread color, as well as dynaQ, a super lightweight extension of Go's database/sql package to support dynamic queries without pre-defined structs to hold the query results. I also have some language-agnostic developer tools in the works that will hopefully be released by the end of the year!!

How will I use your sponsorship funds?

  • Sponsorship funds will help fund continued maintenance of released packages/other pieces of OSS by helping pay maintainers for helping me support and maintain the OSS I've authored. The funds will also be forwarded as sponsorships to other developers of libraries and packages my OSS depends on.
