• As a matter of religious principal I dislike the excessive complication of finances with digitization and computational manipulation to create "value" in the Marxist sense. I am fine with digital security measures in relation to finance but I simply don't believe it is accepted by my God, Buddha, to "play games with money" to swindle others or the "house". I also am spiritually against gambling and government mandated controlled substance legislation. I believe that the government should not be allowed to dictate what does or does not enter an independent, free human's body against their will.
• I believe, as a principal of my religion, that positivity breeds positivity. Knives, firearms, etc, have inherent negative astral energy and are only used to expropriate a system or create a power relationship between two or more entities where the weapons make it possible for one entity to steal from the other or force compliance to the other's will. If we can develop a societal framework that limits or removes weapons from our system boundary, I believe we will exist more peacefully and in tune with Buddha's teachings.
• If you get to know me, I believe you will find I don't mask the truth to deceive. I may control the information I use to state a complaint or a position in a debate but basically I don't like to lie. Or steal. I'm not saying this to say I am holier than thou. I simply find that I don't lie effectively like others that employ this technique to manipulate situations. I tend to surrender my position and approach situations with a freedom of information approach to group relations. I believe information is valuable and we should share information whenever possible. Or at least teach students to learn on their own and give them carte blanche with information. I'm not against proprietary info clauses or intellectual property rights, I simply see those techniques of valuation within a capitalist framework as a hindrance to equal chances for all capitalists to succeed given the labor of learning proprietary knowledge through independent means is a enormous undertaking for independents.
