The bright black text color is similar to the background color and cannot be seen.

While waiting for a fix, you can use https://github.com/one-dark/iterm-one-dark-theme. It doesn't have the bright color issue.

I think the background color in onehalf should be different than the black color in the theme. I think this issue might apply to other programs too because of that. Nevermind, I misunderstood that it's the bright black that's too similar.
