Show selected items first in the drop down list

Hi ,
Not sure how active this is any more . I was wondering if it possible to have the selected items from the list appear first . we have around 100 items in a select and if you select a few and then want to deselect a single item you have to go through the entire list . Not really a big issue but from a usablitly point of view if the select items appeard at teh top under a selected group heading then it would be cleaner and it would help to identify which items were selected.

Has anyone done this as yet?
