Unable to deploy pages on Git Hub - Gets the default Slate Doc Page

Hi,
I’m at the last step of my slate deployment. It works like a charm locally. However I’m unable to deploy on the git hub pages.
Performed the following steps:

1. Make sure you're working on a fork in your own account, not our original repo: git remote show origin.
2. Commit your changes to the markdown source: git commit -a -m "Update index.md"
3. Push the markdown source changes to GitHub: git push
4. Run ./deploy.sh

Gets
Apart from compilation, at the end i get

  create  build/stylesheets/print-bccf8c07.css
  create  build/stylesheets/screen-a1ce949a.css

WARNING: V8 isolate was forked, it can not be disposed and memory will not be reclaimed till the Ruby process exits. – 6 times

Settings on my Git Hub:
Branch: Master
Now in git hub settings, under GitHub Pages
Source: Master
When I launch the page, I get the default page:
https://chrisganta.github.io/slate/

Request for help. This would be a lifesaver.

If you used the default deploy.sh script, note that it will have deployed to your gh-pages branch, so this should be set as the source for GitHub pages in your settings.

It's the same, Mike. I changed it to gh-pages in the settings.

After deployment, I can see the changes (Manually opened the file and checked on git hub) I've made to index.html.md in the Master Branch.
I tried all the combinations:
Branch: Master
Source: gh-pages
Branch: gh-pages
Source: gh-Pages

Branch: gh-pages
Source: Master
Branch:Master
Source:Master

Would be grateful if this can be resolved.

Looking at your repo, it seems like mini_racer has an issue (still) when used with middleman-sprockets that causes and issue with ./deploy.sh running properly.

I will say that previous versions of Slate did recommend trying mini_racer instead of the nodejs runtime, but that was removed in 2.6 as it was causing more problems (like this) then it actually solved for folks.

Assuming you're on Ubuntu 18.04:

1. remove mini_racer from Gemfile
2. bundle lock
3. sudo gem uninstall mini_racer
4. bundle install
5. sudo apt install nodejs
6. ./deploy.sh
