Unable to use includes

Hi guys, i am documenting an api using slate. I did fork it and running it using ubuntu bash on windows. However, when i try to use includes for example after creating _activities.md i get this error

This looks like a permissions error. Just to confirm where that lies, if you do not attempt to include _activities.md, middleman works fine, but once you do, it fails? If so, the easiest solution would be to just make sure the _activities.md file has a other read rights (uog+r).

If i put everything in index.md and errors.md, it runs perfectly so i am not quite sure if it's permissions error. When i try to push on github it shows untracked files. Since this is my first project i am learning, i do not understand (uog+r) perhaps you could elaborate

It's shorthand for the chmod command to give user, group, and other read access to a file.

Another thing to try is doing bundle exec middleman build. This will just build the documentation and confirm if the EACESS error above is from attempting to read a file and it cannot or related to trying to setup the web server to view the built files for developing.

Thanks, i was able to use this command sudo chmod -R 755 includes and it is working well
