Request: Apache Superset #3508

Vector Logo at https://apache.org/logos/#super |
Hmm. Looks like they follow the theme colours on different webs. The one I added is from their official product's Github repo. |
I think we'll need to use this to set a precedent: If the logo provided by Apache differs from the logo used by the project itself, which do we use? I'd vote that, in the case of minor differences, we go with the Apache version but, in cases like this, where the difference is more significant, we go with the project logo. After all, to the best of my knowledge, it's up to each individual project to keep its logos in Apache's library up-to-date so it's more likely that the logo on the project site would be more up-to-date. Thoughts from the other @simple-icons/maintainers? And, although this project has now graduated, I think that in the future we should hold off on adding any project that is incubating until it graduates. |
I would use the new logo from their website: https://superset.apache.org/ |
The next question, then, is what treatment to give it when converting it to monochrome? Keep it solid as in the Apache library or add gaps between the colours. |
