White outline?

Has anyone figured out how to eliminate the white outline that's particularly noticeable on the top in macOS Mojave?

+1 on this. Otherwise, the app has been working very well for me for about a year.

White outline is visible on macOS Catalina as well, would be great to find out how to get rid of it. By the way, this is the only dimmer app that works with Catalina so far. Good job.

I'm going to have a go at fixing this after upgrading to Catalina as I have a bit of experience with Electron.

This plugin has improved a lot since I tried it a few years back! Shame things have gone a bit quiet since then.

So glad this works for 64-bit as I've been in touch with the developers of ScreenShade (big part of my current workflow) and they are not going to update it any more.

So this is our only hope for darker screens on the latest macOS.

Update: I ended up looking at the Mac App Store (lol how this is lower on my list than even contacting old software devs) and found this app which I bought for £2. Works great. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/screen-shade/id450429264?mt=12
