Hello there,
I love the idea of Servo and how versatile it will be, from what I'm reading around the internet and all the suggestions and ideas.
I'm not a fan of Google and Android, and I have bought a phone and installed Linux on it, it's really fast and fun to play with. Issue here is that not everything works on the phone, it's basically a RPI SBC running linux, so it's not really a "good phone", lack of apps etc.
My idea would be to make Servo really good for PWA, PWA being Progressive Web Application, meaning you can install a website on your phone like an app. So imagine instead creating some "Linux App Store" people would just create a website, than can be installed on a device that also caches a lot of things on the device and makes PWA's pretty fast compared to normal Websites.
Servo would need to have a lightweight engine for PWA, so it doesn't become a hog on the CPU.
I have no clue how it can be done but it's just an idea to give some more freedom to users, yes you can also install PWAs on normal Linux computers and Android and all the other devices. This isn't just for "Phone that runs Linux and wants to install PWA as apps".
