I do use the ByteLengthParser to always have the right buffer size which works very well, but sometime the serial communication starts with the wrong byte so I do have a offset. Restarting the pie helps but I was wondering if I can use the ReadyParser too?
//I would like to start the parser only when the buffer starts with 0x55
var parser = port.pipe(new ByteLengthParser({ length: 27 }))
parser.on('data', function (data) {
console.log(data);
})
