Slowness on React Native

I experimented with cloth simulation demo on react native using expo-three (three.js) renderer. I had to reduce the number of world iterations to 1-3 so that the model could barely render. If I increase the number of segments in cloth to 50x50, the whole thing gets completely stuck.

I was wondering if anyone else had similar issue on React Native or Web.
