Not sure if I can do everything here, but I would like to

  • have searches remembered across sessions (can't be done at this moment)
  • have copies remembered across sessions (can't be done at this moment)
  • status line
    • identify the current mode with colours in the status line
    • identify the text position as a percentage in the status line
  • show relative line numbers when in normal mode
  • check how I can configure Helix to do what I do with VS Code and the plugins I use
  • Take a look at helix-editor/helix/runtime/queries/latex and see if you can
    • improve the BibTeX definitions based on it
    • make a PR for BibTeX to the Helix project
