"When using VSCode on my computer for this Codespace, hitting Ctrl + S doesn't generate a PDF and place it on the side of my editor" I met the sam problem. Moreover, it will not be automatically generated when I am typing in .Tex file |

I found out about this project a little while ago and I'm considering using it as a replacement for Overleaf for a project I'm working on. My colleague has experience using LaTeX on the platform but the two of us are struggling to make the UI easier to use. I have a couple of issues that I'm trying to resolve here and I'm curious about how to fix them:
The project's available at mrgarbagegamer/GEL if you can take a look; I like the features and collaborative abilities of WebLaTeX but I'm having trouble just simplifying things so we can easily use it for our purpose.
