I've never worked with devcontainer before, but is it possible to convert it to a docker image?
I don't want to pay for githubs workspace while already having servers that can do it.

I tried doing an similar approach with codeserver which didn't quite work as expected, therefore I'm curious.

Yes. A major update is coming with a self-hosted option!

@Pr0mises , can you check the dev branch? I have used the official texlive container with full support. Let me know if it is working fine from your end. I will merge the update then. And release the container for you to use locally.

@sanjib-sen The demo texfile compiled correct and is working in my codespace. How can I use it inside a docker tho?
