Describe the bug
App unexpectedly quits without error message. Task bar icon disappears. Have to restart app.

To Reproduce
At seemingly random times when I'm in the folder/file selection popup from Preferences window, the whole app will close down without any warning or error message.

Expected behaviour
I would expect the app to stay open while I'm choosing folders and not randomly disappear.

System:

  • Maestral version: 1.9.2
  • Python version:
  • OS: MacOS 14.4.1
  • Desktop environment: [e.g. Gnome 3.32]
  • PyQt version (for Linux GUI):

Additional context
Issue persisted over reboots.

Yes, happens for me too with fresh install on MacOs 14.4.1 M2.

How to reproduce:

  1. Open selective sync.
  2. Make sure list of folders doesn't fit the window (need to scroll).
  3. Scroll down.
  4. Scroll up

Upon scrolling up app immediately crashes. The workaround is to resize vertically the list of folder so that no scrolling is needed.

UPD. The problem occurs when scrolling in other views too, like Show recent changes....

Thanks for the report! This was an issue with loading the icons in the table. It should be resolved now in the latest release.
