problem that lead up to this feature request
I've made too many notes and was looking for a system to mix my ideas with generators, tables and lists i've curated or found to my liking as is. One of the playstyles for Cairn (nice OSR TTRPG) assumes characters dying like flies and instant rolls with extended custom tables would be just perfect for it.

This is how I found EEEG.

solution I'd like
If only there'd be an option to launch it as a frontend to the user's notes and to generate what's lacking on the go — not vice versa as it is now ).

alternative solutions for different visions for EEEG
Alternative solution / quick fixwa might be

  • instant option to edit any text on any page.
  • clear visual differentiation of user-generated content marked as important and default content.
  • or users like me continuing to use Obsidian/other notes app as home wiki for everything and sometimes losing game time either fiddling around multiple external generators or coming up with details for everything.

Additional context
Not to disrespect any contributor's writing, it's just i treat things that i didn't write or curated myself as background by default. It's not even quality vs quantity thing, it's a matter of personal connection to the ideas I and or my group already like and want in out game.
