[REQUEST] Ratings and Popularity

I'm wondering whether it is possible (and legally easy) to display some stats for each app on the app store

Like:

• Number of people using the app
• General ratings
• Category ratings

Describe alternatives you've considered

• None.

Additional context
I guess the privacy policy would add some painful work to this cool open source project, so not sure it will ever get prioritized. But really, I feel like it could be a nice addition.

Interesting idea. As you guessed we will never track our users and having a popularity ranking of usage within Tipi is impossible. However, we could try to make a ranking algorithm based on GitHub starts, docker downloads, and other stuff. Not easy as all the project have their own medium of distribution but feasible

Closing this since the only way to include in app ratings would be to use analytics. Currently most users even have the error monitoring disabled so an analytics option would get even less users. We may revisit it in the future though.
