[Feature request] Gems stored in DB #237
Labels
Comments
Do you feel like DB storage is better for your usecase than S3 or some other cloud block storage? If you're interested in sending a PR, I think we would be OK with merging something that adds the database as a backend for gem storage. |

Hi!
I know this is the same asked here, but I encountered a situation that may be useful.
I am running the server in Kubernetes and unless you create a volume for the pod you will loose the data in the disk making it impossible to recover. So I think it would be nice to have an option to store it in the DB and forget about the volumes.
Let me know what you think and I may be able to make a PR with a new storage class for this feature.
