Magit Commit no longer splits diff and commit message #32

Ever since installing the nano themes, Magit no longer "splits" the commit diff window horizontally/below the commit message edit window. Instead, they each appear as full windows, with the diff in the front (which is annoying).

I've searched through the code but I can't seem to find what might be doing this. Any ideas?

Could you post a screenshot since I'm not sure to understand what you describe.

So when I use nano and I go to magit status and commit changes, I get a single window with the diff:

Whereas previously (when I used other themes and didn't have any nano libs), I would get two split windows with the diff on the bottom and the current commit message editor on the top, like this:

Not sure to understand. You mean a change in magit makes nano theme to suppress one window?
