E.g. https://github.com/marktext/marktext provides way more features.

Right now I'm looking for:

  • mermaid diagrams
  • better wysiwyg text editor in genral. (e.g. buttons to make a text bold)
  • slightly less annoying bullet point behavior
  • proper right-click context menu
  • tables. Any tables.
  • proper handling of check boxes
  • super hard to change a h2 to e.g. h3 without cut and Ctrl+Shift+V
  • Also having an outline of the sections and sub-sections would be great. Otherwise the having a generted markdown contents pollutes the rag context.
  • Search within a document (Ctrl+F)

Any chace we can see a better markdown editor?

Also:

  • It sometimes deletes whole paragraphs by pressing the del key.
  • copy & past is pretty broken
  • Adding links to headlines is broken

I'm personally thinking to do a one-way sync of supported files from my Obsidian vault into the Reor vault.

Obsidian is my main 2nd brain and preferred editor. Does the repo owner see any possible issues with that?
