Can't add RSS feeds due to 1 feed being glitch #1249
Comments
rTorrent doesn't have native RSS support, did you maybe mean to open this ticket in the ruTorrent project? |
I didn't know that. My seedbox has it installed by default. Where do I go for suport for the RSS component? |
I'd recommend a ticket in the ruTorrent project as mentioned, RSS is one of the core plugins they provide: https://github.com/Novik/ruTorrent/wiki/PluginRSS |

I've got a strange problem. I can't add RSS feeds to ruTorrent due to the "Torrent Galaxy" RSS Feed (https://torrentgalaxy.to/rss) that I already added being glitchy. Torrent Galaxy is an open tracker.
The Torrent Galaxy feed every several minutes will show an exclamation mark beside the feed name. When I click on the feed name it will show several red popups saying "Error loading torrent. Watercache.nanobytes.org name of torrent here" and each popup will show the name of a different torrent for that site. The torrents in the Torrent Galaxy feed still show up fine though.
That's not a big deal. However for some reason I'm unable to add new feeds while the Torrent Galaxy feed is there. When I try to add a new feed for a different tracker, the feed isn't added and instead it shows those same popup error messages for the Torrent Galaxy feed. I can't even delete the Torrent Galaxy feed and add a different feed as when I do that the Torrent Galaxy feed re-appears along with the same error messages. If I delete the RSS rule for the Torrent Galaxy feed then the error messages show again and the rule magically returns!
How am I supposed to add new RSS feeds?
Do you know why I'm getting those error messages?
Is there a way to fix the Torrent Galaxy feed?
