I have weird scaling issues with QTOX on Lubuntu (running LXQT desktop environment).
I have had this before a long time ago also, and I remembered a fix/work around.
I wanted to post the issue for the solution/workaround and let devs know, not sure if QTOX fault or DE, or even my tiny resolution on this device (800x1280)
Reproducible: Always (dependent on config)
Steps to reproduce
Have Lubuntu with LXQT desktop environment, switch device/resolution a lot
Open QTOX appimage
See scaling is messed up on smaller resolutions only?
Observed Behavior
Scaling is all messed up.
Expected Behavior
Scaling to either auto figure out scaling, or work correctly (pretty sure its an issue with LXQT / Lubuntu not QTOX).
Solution: Go to Session Settings in LXQT settings, create a new environment variable as follows; QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR
Set that to 0
Logout and back in
Profit?
