Add a show status indicator on the Show List poster layout page

I have trouble easily knowing a show's status (ended, paused, continuing, future date, etc) from the poster layout on the full show list page.

Describe the solution you'd like
I think a good solution might be to overlay the show's poster image with a 'status indicator' in some portion of the image. Something like a stop sign or square stop button for an ended show or two parallel lines like on a pause button for a paused show. I envision this as a small but visible symbol either in a corner or center of the image. It would be ideal if the location and size (and maybe color??) of the symbol were configurable.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The best option I currently have is to enlarge the size of the posters to make the text more readable. One other might be to simply filter the view based on status, i.e. show only 'ended' shows, but I like to see all my shows at once.
