But what do you mean by "wayland"? Which compositor? And, the various compositors are incompatible with each other: some applications work only if you use a specific compositor, so the distinction between X and Wayland is really a distinction between X and everything else. |

since /etc/windowmanager to determine default desktop environment. What if we have /etc/display-server to determine the default display server to use whether Xorg or Wayland. Why we need this? Due to some environment variables needed to set on Wayland in order the GUI programs works correctly upon switching between Xorg and Wayland
