Equalizer refuses to enable (Linux Mint 20) #49

OS: Linux Mint 20
Package version: v3.0.2

Running pulseaudio-equalizer-gtk then attempting to enable the equalizer fails, as shown below. I am using external speakers plugged into a laptop. I have done no further configuration with PulseAudio.
