I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to discuss a specific requirement we have for template extraction and processing.
Our goal is to extract parameters from the tags in URLs and utilize these parameters in our requests. This process involves appending the extracted parameters to our requests and then analyzing the responses using a predefined matcher.
To provide a concrete example, consider the following URL: https://www.google.com/?search=xss. In this scenario, our objective is to extract the parameter search (which in this case has the value xss) and use it in our request. The response obtained from this request should then be processed through our matcher, which is specifically looking for occurrences of xss.
This method was initially developed using Nuclei templates, and we intend to apply a similar approach here.
Could you please advise on the feasibility of this process and provide any insights or suggestions on how we might best implement it? Your expertise in this area would be greatly appreciated.
