Bug description

I am using prisma and mongodb. Reading about it. It seems that there is a problem when it comes to id and ObjectId creating a conflict between JSON and BSON.

The error message I get is...

How to reproduce

Expected behavior

I am expecting a new user to be saved from a user registration (auth) page, in Mongodb. But it will not accept the Id.

Apologies prior if I have done anything wrong with my post formatting etc. I am pretty new to this.

This looks wrong to me.

A MongoDB ObjectID should be defined like this:

  id          String  @id @default(auto()) @map("_id") @db.ObjectId

Note that the default function is auto(), and not cuid().
