Is there a way to configure vim-lsp so a server is used conditionally per-path?

I've only seen options to enable by filetype so far, but if I have a specialized LSP server that only knows how to return results for particular projects (and give "not supported" responses for everything else), I haven't found a way to skip it for files in a project I already know it doesn't support.

Still waiting for an answer on it if someone would be so kind as to take a look and give some guidance.
