I completely understand if an idea like this gets denied. I can imagine it would be kind of hard to code as well, and I know there is already a lot of work being done on the bot. I had the idea though of there being several types of incenses that could be purchased. The types would likely be based on pokemon types. So you could have a fighting type and only get fighting type pokemon, flying incense for only flying pokemon. With over 800 pokemon in the bot even something like this would have a large variety. Maybe they could be smaller even? So instead of 180 pokemon in the incense it could be 90? Could even keep the price of 50 shards the same, since you would be paying to have it refined. As I said though I completely understand if this idea gets rejected, I just figured I would share and get your opinions on it. Have a great day, all who are reading this! And keep up the great work on the bot.

I don't speak on Oliver's behalf, but this doesn't seem too complicated. There is already an ArrayList (or something like an ArrayList) containing the list of pokemon that are all, say, fire type, water type, etc. The only issue I see with this is the price, which should be higher imo because, as you said, you'd be refining it to a specific type, and it'd make more sense to be more expensive when it's more custom to the players' desires.

Well that is why I was saying to make the incense only 90 pokemon instead of the normal 180. That way you are paying the same but getting less pokemon, which would be the price to pay for the refining. That was just an idea though. A higher price for refined incense that are the same length would be perfectly fine as well, I am sure people wouldn't have a problem with that. It just makes me worry with some types having a full 180 because some, like ice, only have very few pokemon. So you would end up getting a whole lot of duplicates in 180. Which I guess would also be the point, since people would do it to help get catches towards the 100/1000 goal. I don't know, this was all just a random idea. I'm definitely not saying it would work best one way or another, that would be for Oliver, or anyone else working on it, to figure out. I just wanted to share the idea and get thoughts on it.

Hi, I have done a lot of incenses myself and think that the Pokémon reduction of this idea would not be enough. Simply because of the fact that you are narrowing down the Pokémon possible in these incenses by hundreds, making it much more likely to get a rare spawn. I know that a lot of people, including myself, do incenses partly in the hopes of rare spawns. So in my personal opinion, the price should be increased as well as a Pokémon reduction but not by much as to give them all their own purpose. Regular incenses being for getting more Pokémon, while these types of incenses being for more rare spawns of a certain type that you may happen to like. I would also like to add that an upside of this idea is for people who hunt rare Pokémon. I know one of these players and he has been at it for a long time. Hunting a rare using redeems and pure luck can take a really long time or just a lot of luck but a cheaper way to more likely be able to get their shiny hunt would be useful. I just play this bot a lot and wanted to help a little so here is my post.

We already suggested that the prices would be higher for a more refined incense, only because it allows users to get specific types of pkmn. Rares aren't so valuable as to increase the price by a significant amount. Also, incense is and never will be that great for shiny hunting, it's just not its purpose. Incense was made for people to catch a lot of pkmn for dex entries and for a chance of catching a shiny by basically brute forcing your way to a shiny. Not only that, but I've yet to see someone get an incense because they thought they were going to get a rare pkmn in it. It takes 3-4 incense before you get anything rare, so you're better off just buying a redeem.
