I'm working on setting up a basic example in a bare React Native (not expo) but I'm having issues getting my scene to render correctly.
In case it's important, I'm building this app within an nx monorepo that used pnpm as the package manager. I only mention that since I initially had some trouble getting all the dependencies installed and linked up correctly. Perhaps I made a mistake there.
My versions are:
I followed the React Native installation instructions and tried setting up the scene exactly as described in the basic example, but the best I could ever do was get a basic black cube to render. In my research it appeared to be an issue with the lighting, because whenever I try to add it, no shapes ever appear (or are transparent?).
Here's the latest version that I've been testing out (with a control example, as well):
I've tried this at codesandbox.io and this code renders as expected in a browser. In my simulator, I see only one black sphere (as one would expect) in the bottom Canvas.
Am I doing anything obviously wrong?
