how to use points and buffer geometry in react-three/fiber

Hi guys i been learning a lot using react-three/fiber recently and i tried to learn to use points and buffer Geometry it seem it wont show anything i feel i put all the parameter in the component correctly and it doesn't give any error in console or terminal i feel am quite lost right now and there's not much information about people using it can anyone give me example of how to use it for this library? thank you and sorry for the trouble.

That sounds like maybe you don't have a buffer attribute set for the position. Hard to say without seeing the code you're working on.

Here is a barebones example of using points and buffer geometry. Compare it to what you're doing to see what you might be missing.

I also updated my dependencies and my version stopped working as well. Definitely a bug. New API.

There is a change to how attach works.

@mwmwmw This is extremely helpful! I am having trouble attaching geometry from a loaded GLTF into BufferGeometry.
this example has been done attaching the GLTF geometry to THREE.Points.
But I want to generate FBO particles from the geometry in the GLTF.

What about a model with more points? I try to change the number of points : 100, to 5000 and it's very low.
I ask this question because I'm trying to trigger event on a model with 35000 points and I can't trigger event on.
