network settings on my system are meesed up after installing/using phoronix test suite

After i've installed phoronix on my Fedora 39 system and starting disk benchmark, i can no longer ping my gateway or another computer in my LAN.
This problem is system wide.

Also other setting were changed, like the lock screen was disabled. This particular problem is user-specific. Other user can lock screen just fine.

It's beyond my understanding why benchmarking the hdd has to disable the screen lock. Do i have to stay with my computer for so many hours the suite needs to execute?

Please not that i've stopped the test suite with ctrl-c since it was taking too long.

How can i fix my network settings and any other leftovers from stopping the phoronix test suite?

Phoronix suite does not change any system settings so your problem is most likely caused by something else. I suggest doing log analysis.
