Cursor move/enable feature #164
Comments
Have you considered using the TextBox widget? This already handles freeform input and gives you an emulated cursor? |
I want to make all things at low-level, anyway, thank you very much, I will try it. |
It's not that hard to switch the cursor back on, but it will end up flickering around the screen as the Effects refresh, so is probably not the effect you want. You could try by simply removing the line of code that hides the cursor and then try running some samples to see what I mean. |
I'm trying to write text editor with asciimatics, and I need to view cursor :)
Please add functions like cursor.show() and cursor.move(x, y)
Or just please explain how to do it. I see in code
win_out = win32console.CreateConsoleScreenBuffer()
win_out.SetConsoleCursorInfo(0, 1)
But how to use it?
