Description
A third right for tags: besides view and edit, I would like the (un)assign-right as well.
We would like to have a simple way to approve a document: 'approved by HR', 'approved by CEO' or 'declined by CEO' or 'invoice paid'.
These tags should be visible for (almost) everyone in the team, but only HR, CEO or the finance guy should be able to assign or remove these tags from a document.
This way, for small teams or volunteering organisations, you have an easy way to have some sort of approval workflow and be sure the tag can only have been added by the intended person (or group of course).
A workflow might look like this:
I fully understand the limitations of this, eg. it is possible the tag 'approved by CEO' is added by the CEO and then later someone else could edit/change the document. For a full 'real' approval workflow-process, more steps would be needed. Once the document goes into a certain state, only the people assigned to that state should have 'edit' rights, for example. That way, a document cannot be changed after it has been approved or paid. But that is a lot more work and while it would of course be great to have, the much simpler feature request I made here should suffice in 70% of all use cases :-)
