The iOS features of autocapitalization, autopunctuation, and autocorrect are not working when authoring Markdown (which is the input field for Blog posts and Pages) .
Some context for this ticket: I'm on a search for a "good" editor experience for Markdown. I'm taking notes over on directus/directus#16762, which includes a link to a spreadsheet where I'm evaluating various Markdown editors and CMSs.
I have not yet found a CMS that supports autocorrect, autocomplete, and autopunctuation on a Markdown input. Here are related issues:
However, there are editors that support this feature (see spreadsheet on the Directus discussion linked above).
Worth noting is that I discovered TinyMC itself has an issue, as noted on this comment: directus/directus#16699 (comment), and based on the documentation TinyMCE is used by pagekit (though I didn't see where that was in the code yet).
