how do i do the rebuid graph from this troubleshoot?

If you removed an email you made contributions with from your account, you will lose those contributions. Simply add the email back. It doesn't have to be the primary email for your Github account. See this guide.

yes that's done the commits i made were transferred to the new account, but it does not show in my contribution activity / graph. its been 3 weeks, yet it doesn't show up as green (though if i visit the repo i can see that my new profile is a contributor)

Please check your settings and ensure that ALL emails you used on your previous account are on your new account. Also, maybe make sure you include private contributions in your commit history. If that doesn't work, it could be due to your account creation date. It's more likely maybe you contributed on a Github anonymous email (an email Github assigns you by default to be the one that you contribute from. It may be a workaround to add that email from your old account if you can access the old account although I reccomend just starting from scratch. Either way, your contribution graph doesn't really matter. Ik a lot of people at top schools and companies like FAANG. A lot of the best devs Ik don't really have much activity on Github.

All taken care off, what bugs me is that even thought github shows amithm3 as contributor and has like 50+ commits each in multiple repos, it doesn't show the same in the graph.
