Trying to get a C++ build (using autotools and make ) building on Windows (Currently works fine on Mac/Linux).
From my reading I need to use MSYS2 and Mingw as the compiler.
It all seems to install correctly but things are not working as expected.
But when I run the
configure
it checks to see if we can compile againstlibyaml
and this fails.I have used
pacman
to validate thatmingw-w64-x86_64-libyaml
is correctly installed. But when I try and
ls -la /mingw64/lib
there is no libyaml installed at this location.I have built a VMware box on my mac and got it to build.
So I am not sure what I am doing wrong:
