I understand that putting up the "Compare & Pull Request" message is a feature, rather than a bug:
https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/22526
BUT when I follow the directions to mirror a repository from BitBucket, I get a ton of these messages that I can't get rid of.
Surely there is some way to mirror a repository without GitHub thinking these are new branches?
