Description of issue

I am the maintainer of the Ice menu bar manager app. Recently, a discussion has started about potentially renaming our cask to something more user friendly. The current cask token is jordanbaird-ice, which I initially went with because a tap called ice already exists, but it was pointed out in the discussion that there are cases where a cask and a tap have the same name (e.g. silicon). I was under the impression that this was not allowed, or at the very least discouraged. Someone also suggested ice-menubar as a possible alternative. Are either of these a valid possibility, or is renaming discouraged altogether?
