Description of issue

Trying to install a custom cask https://github.com/termsurf/homebrew-load locally

$ brew install --cask termsurf/load/task

Also, should I be running it like this instead for local?

$ brew install --cask ./Casks/task.rb

The goal is to simply install a bunch of stuff under the hood, some GUI apps as well. How can I make that happen?

This appears to be because of how I was passing the depends_on <args> args? Not quite sure.

Would be nice to have a more descriptive error.

Very few of those blocks actually belong in a cask (precompiled binary distribution). It looks like you're actually trying to write a formula (built-from-source package).
